Slowly the website is building and so is our distribution! The newest addition is a split between ‘Desperately Obvious’ and ‘Beware! The Other Head of Science’ called ‘Can You Spot the Difference?’ It is a handmade CDR with great artwork and great music, each band does four songs and it is a great teaser if you are unsure about jumping into a full length. This is currently the only release by ‘Beware’ other than their 4 track demo. A few things to look forward to online in the near future is the fabled ‘Underground Up’ compilation featuring some great local artists that may or may not be together anymore, this was one of our original projects that ended up getting put on hold for a very long time and now will be released on the web. Celebrate good times, come on. -richard |

I bet you thought this website would never get updated. Well, well, well... it looks like the joke is on you. Let's start at the top. Mathematicians have completed yet another tour that has pushed them through the country making new friends and fans. Since we both have to make rent and pretend we don't have a personal life Pete and I haven't had a chance to recap the highlights, but on paper I know that they shared a bill with Matt & Kim and played SXSW, both of these seemed to be just a Indie-Rock wet dreams of mine. Desperately Obvious is starting to make some noise locally with friends at Three Benson, please check them out. The new CD Fall by Desperately Obvious is now available at shows for $8 or online for $10. Since all the band's schedules are forever changing please refer yourself to the popular myspace for show updates. Our friend's at The Rabbit Hole have been providing Desperately Obvious with some beautiful hand embroidered shirts that are available at shows for $15 and online for $17, they are worth every penny. In other news we will be doing distro for the band Zahnarzt who has just released MINI PONY with help from Make Your Fate and Peterwalkee records. This is a good purchase. Let this be a lesson to those who thought we were sleeping, Make Your Fate never sleeps, Make Your Fate waits. -richard |
